Hello Everyone!
Meet Enerys Pagan, student at Specialized Math and Science public school, Brígida Alvarez Rodriguez in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. Our young Einstein is an environmental activist who works as a volunteer with the Conservation Center of Manatee at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. At her young age, she has already represented Puerto Rico in the Latinamerican Robotics Competition amongst other Math and Science competitions. In April 2012, her robotics team qualified and competed in the VEX World Robotics Championship. Her aspirations are to become a Mechanical Engineer! Meanwhile, she might be helping your children, you and me, live in more stable and sustainable planet. This year, with the help of her mentor, mechanical engineering professor at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, Ramon Rivera-Varona, she has arrived as a finalist in the Golden Climate International Environmental Olympiads (to be celebrated April 29th 2015 in Kenya, Africa), with a research that proposes the decrease of the greenhouse effect by complete disassociation of carbon dioxide using cyclotron plasma!! Big words there, huh? That’s why she is a finalist!!! In its category, she is the only one that comes from this part of the hemisphere, and is expected to confirm assistance by March 23rd. The greenhouse effect is something that affects us all and will for generations to come! Help her help us and let's get her there!! Even a buck donation is a great donation! Your children and mine will thank you!
