I have increased the target, as our church and school are FULL to capacity so we urgently need to buy or build a larger premesis... Also to include the day to day running costs for 2018 (feeding, clothing, preaching, teaching, building, installing water etc..)
This is the fundraising site for ETNM Hope Gypsy Community. The viewers and sponsors of our YouTube Community have adopted a Roma Gypsy community in Sliven, Bulgaria where 36,000 gypsies live in shocking poverty, most cannot read, and many children have no clothes or toys. There are few toilets or kitchens in the houses. We provide support to the Church of God - Shalom there, employing the pastor and his wife, a centre manager, teachers and matrons, and also assisting them in providing hot food and fruit for the children, clothing them, and installing water and toilets.
As there was no school in the communtity, we have bought a building there and converted it into a school and church. (This is the first school in the gypsy community here, where 80% of the children do not go to school), We opened the school in April 2016. We have also built a kitchen to provide food daily for the children and the poor, We want not only to share the gospel with them, but to demonstrate the love of Jesus by caring for their wellbeing too.
