Encore is a feature film by Gavin Wegener, G.W. Films. We are an independent production from Houston Texas.
As a filmmaker my goal is always to create captivating, exciting stories and beautiful visuals through my lens. That is what I am striving to do each time I walk on set. Film has become a little bit repetitive, especially on the indie level, and i feel as though we really need to see an aggressive project that takes risks.
The ability this production has with the donations of others is tremendous. Having a sufficive budget allows us to sit down and design incredible shots and visuals.
This project requires a lot of planning and great materials such as props and real visual effects. With your donations we can escalate that. Your donations will go straight to increasing the level of quality of this film. Through better special effects and realistic effects, you'll help create that real, gritty feel to the intense action sequences we want to portray. But it's not just about those small, yet important elements. Donations will increase our ability to receive permits to shoot in beautiful locations and capture incredible Arial shots of our scenes, really pushing each moment to a higher intensity.
Encore is filming right now! We want to make this for you and everyone else to see, for free. Our goal is to tour festivals with Encore, and then release it to the world! Contributors will receive an early viewing pass and see it before anyone else.
It is going to happen either way, but your help will make it so much more.
Film is an art. It takes great planning, patients and time. We want to have the right possibilities to paint the most beautiful picture we can imagine, but sometimes it takes the support of others who also appreciate and enjoy this form of art.
