I am an Ambassador for Barefoot Books and my goal is to reach out to children in Newcastle upon Tyne who are affected by domestic violence and abuse. Your donations will buy beautiful children's books which will be given to the numerous refuges throughout the city that provide a haven for families escaping dangerous homes.
In the words of one of our lovely donors "books help children escape from reality and when reality is mostly suffering and hurt then all of them should have a book to lose themselves in!".
** Anyone donating £10 or over will be given the opportunity to include a personal message or dedication in one of the books to be donated. **
