#TheGame - unlocking the power of the network
We are currently running a campaign called #TheGame , where entrepreneurs and captains of industry are competing against each other to pass on their expert knowledge. The inspiration for #TheGame came from our own recent experiences as a newly launched business. It draws on what we’ve rapidly learned from our role models, customers and innovative business partners who’ve been so generous with their knowledge, connections, ideas and feedback.

@elXtr, we believe in the power of a great network. We believe that businesses start, develop, grow best and endure, where they are well-supported, with the right solutions and tools at their finger-tips, within their control. We also know first-hand just how much of a struggle it can be when you don’t ask for support or can’t find the right people or the means to make your ambitions happen.
Raising money for four charities
We have asked the players to nominate four charities for whom we can raise money on the back of the fantastic levels of awareness and engagement that #TheGame is achieving across the UK business community.
We have launched a public vote for these charities to decide how the funds we raise will be split. The format will be as follows:
Charity with the most votes = 50% of donations
Charity with 2nd most votes = 25% of donations
Charity with 3rd most votes = 15% of donations
Charity with 4th most votes = 10% of donations

The four charities
Teens Unite Fighting Cancer - dedicated to improving the lives of young people aged 13-24, with cancer and other life limiting illnesses.
Trussell Trust - runs a network of over 400 foodbanks, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis across the UK.
Meningitis Research Foundation - made up of people throughout the world who come together to work towards a vision of a world free from meningitis and septicaemia.
British Red Cross - a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.
We are delighted to be supporting such a diverse mix of organisations that each offer support to those that find themselves needing access to their services and networks. We have let the charities know that we are fundraising on their behalf and will provide further information about where the funds will likely be used over the next couple of weeks.
We are sure that any donation you can make will go a long way to helping these charities continue with their amazing work. Please share this campaign across your own network. It would be great to show how strong the power of the network can be within the business community.
