Prayers for Vera

On August 27, 2014 Vera Mercer was on her way to the hospital for a scheduled C-section when the vehicle in which she was riding was struck by a tractor trailer, killing the family friend that was driving.
Vera sustained major injuries to her brain and other internal organs. She survived three surgeries that day including an emergency C-section where her healthy, beautiful baby girl was delivered. Vera remains in the ICU where she is improving but has a long road ahead. The accident has left Vera unable to communicate (verbally) at this time, but we know God is still working on her. She is awake and improving each day.
The funds will be used to maintain Vera's household (rent and utilities) and child/day care for her two children, her eleven year old son Christian, and her miracle new born baby girl, Camryn who is yet to meet her mother. Vera's elderly mother also lives with her as Vera was her mother's primary caretaker. Her mother suffers from dementia and other ailments that require round-the-clock supervision. Vera's family has stepped in, but this is going to be a long haul and they can use some help as God continues His work with Vera.
