Daniel's Recovery Fund

Daniel Winston was working just his sixth shift as a swamper on an Emterra recycling truck when he fell off striking his head on the road. He was brought to Chilliwack General Hospital On Nov 29th then quickly transferred to Royal Columbian Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery due to a brain bleed.
Over the course of a week and a half Daniel has had many ups and downs. From fighting an infection, a very high temperature, regulating his own body temperature, blood sugars and heart rate to not being able to eat or drink on his own yet. Daniel can only make out a few words here and there each day and is using his eyes to communicate with his wife Catherine. He's very confused & agitated & tired. Because of these things he has not yet been allowed to try & walk. His right side of his body is very sluggish but each day is getting a little better.
Catherine and Daniel are still newlyweds and she has been by his side every moment since his accident. Catherine is taking a leave from her job to care for Daniel and have been told by doctors that he will most likely remain in hospital till at least the spring of 2018. Daniel still needs to have another surgery to reattach his skull bone.
All of the funds raised are going straight to Daniel and Catherine to help with loss of wages and expenses during his long journey to recovery.
