Recently unemployed (March '15, after 3 years with the company they closed their doors while I was in the hospital. Came home and still being owed a month's pay. I believe that a Higher Power help me through these trials.
It is never too late to follow your dreams! Photography had been something that I was interested in since I was a child however, a childhood event made me turn away from this dream. That one memory will no longer hold me back.
I am chasing my passion now and I do not wish to have anything stop me. This year I started taking classes in photography and hope to continue. It's not easy; these course are paid out-of-pocket. There are several more courses I am interesting in registering for and the cost ranges from $250 to $350 per course.
I also wish to convert a room in my home into a photography studio. More and more I am being told that I have 'an eye'; that I am talented and I should nuture this 'gift'. Well, this is me going all in... and I need your help. Help me keep my dream alive!
With every milestone reached -- from paint purcharsing to class registration to equipment delivery I will keep you all updated. You can also find me on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr; username: angelindiskies
If, by chance, I find great deals for equipment or barter on and offline for something, then I will enter the costs as offline donations to reflect what I have procured outside of this fundraising page.
You can donate whatever amount you wish if you are not able to give enough to earn a reward. Every penny will bring me closer to my dream.
You can find photos in my facebook albums to select from for the rewards... (will try and upload more selections) Only photos that I have the rights to can be selected. You can send me a private message on Facebook or here if you have any questions. Depending on the resolution of the original photos; some photos may not be available in larger prints.
