The Thompson Valley High School Lacrosse Program (Varsity and Junior Varsity) would deeply appreciate your support this season as we work towards reaching the play-offs in a very competitive conference.
Our players have been working all through the off season and are ready to play some of the toughest teams in Colorado.
Each year we have 35+ student athletes from all over Northern Colorado take the field during tryouts. We have girls come to TVHS from 11 different high schools to play. Due to the costs of the sport, not all of the students are able to afford equipment and uniforms, these are things that each player must pay for themselves. We want all student athletes to have the opportunity to participate in the fastest growing sport in the United States! A special scholarship fund will be set up with a portion of our funds to help students who cannot afford these costs.
We are also in need of a portable AED to have on hand for practices. This is a life saving device. While we hope that we would never have the need for this, we know that accidents happen in sports. Monies would purchase the AED and training for our coaches.
We are also working towards raising money for our overnight trip to play teams in Southern Colorado as well as help with our end of year banquet. Both are funded by the players not by the district.
Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated and will help fund an amazing group of young ladies!
