MattBurkePhoto Computer fund

Hello Friends and random internet folks. I hate to even have to do this, but it has unfortunately gotten to this point.

For anyone that doesn't know me, I'm an employed full time photographer, a freelancer, as well as a single parent. I work like a maniac and haven't had a day off work between my 2 jobs in somewhere close to 6 months, maybe longer. It's just impossible for me to get ahead enough to save up $2,000ish for a new computer that will be able to handle the intense amount of work I'll be putting into it.
I've saved up just over $1,000 and am essentially looking to match that amount via friends/fans/supporters/strangers too, strangers are cool. 

My issue currently, is that I am a photographer using all digital gear and my Macbook Pro of the last 6+ years has completely crapped out. It's pretty difficult to get work done on a computer that doesn't function, but I suppose that is pretty self explanatory. 

I am by no means looking for a handout from anyone. In exchange for some cash, I will be offering up just about anything from my photographic catalog, with some exceptions.  Digital downloads, physical prints, posters, video shout outs on the internet, whatever floats your boat, I'm into it as long as I can keep my clothes on.

If you can find it in your lovely hearts to help me out, I will do my absolute best to make it worth your while.
