Help me continue to rescue!*URGENT*

*Edit; I am now, sadly, in dire straits partially due to the lack of campaign activity and donations... This has caused me to change not just my goal amount but also my mission statement from obtaining a rescue facility and vehicle to simply KEEPING THE UTILITIES ON AND A ROOF OVER THE HEADS OF MYSELF AND MY RESCUE/FOSTER ANIMALS. Just because donations stopped didn't mean the help these animals need did... This meant all the money meant for bills, rent, ect went to them instead. As I type this I have $26 to my name, of which will have to be spent on dogfood tomorrow as we only have about 6 cups left... I got this house so I could have more room for helping and sheltering animals but I didn't think I'd be having to worry about keeping it so quickly... It's the slow season for my paying job so income is hot and (more often than not) miss and all my money is tied up in this house...
All the utility bills are cut-off notices totaling in the hundrends and I had to use my bill money for my HW possitive foster dog, Jaxon's treatment. But it's not me I'm worried about, theres 3 dogs (1 HW+), an FIV+ cat, a ferret, 2 chickens and 6 rats all currently in my care. They are the ones who I have to keep afloat for, but I'm sinking. So, now more then ever, I desperetly need help to keep the home in which I use to rescue and keep the utilities on in these winter months. I know this campaign isn't as exciting as a trip overseas or the making of a cool new gadget, but it's something that I, and the animals I work with, cannot live without...
So please, if you can find it in your heart to donate so that I may keep the home that so many people and animals rely on, please do so... Please don't turn a blind eye, because people coming to me to help them with animals doesn't stop just because I'm broke or the water is off. I'm still expected to be there to rescue. And I will be as long as I have a place to do so.
Rescue work is a rewarding and difficult mission. I've been doing outreach to get animals spay/neutered and vaccinated in neighborhoods that need it the most. I also work to rescue, rehab and rehome animals from all walks of life. I see the worst of the worst while trying to stay strong and positive. Most of this is done out of my own home, vehicle and pocket. Month to month I worry about keeping my utilities on while the messages about animals in need pile up and I've often had to choose between groceries and dog food, between getting myself to a doctor or a cat to the vet. While there are many animals looking for homes, adopters and fosters are few and far between and I often have to make a miracle happen. I've never asked for donations and my friends encouraged me to create this GoFundMe account so I can continue doing rescue work. I want to keep helping animals but with no more space, money, and the mileage I'm racking up on my wagon I fear that I may soon loose the capacity to provide help to the animals desperately needing it.
My goal is to obtain a facility where I can temporarily house these forsaken animals and get them the medical care they need while they wait for their furrever homes. With a building I can shelter and board even more animals, boosting the odds of them getting adopted and creating a safe haven for those that would otherwise end up abandoned or worse...
With a building we can also host adoption events, training classes, and overall education on responsible pet ownership to better the odds of animals thriving in the future. Much of the animal homelessness problem can be prevented with proper knowledge and preparedness.
I also intend to get a van which would boost my ability to travel for rescues and adoptions and make it possible to transport more animals in less trips, thus cutting down greatly on the cost of back-and-forth driving which is taking a toll on my personal vehicle.
With these donations, I and my rescue friends can continue to do the work no one wants to have to do. Because at the end of the day, if you ask anyone who does rescue they would be ecstatic if their job didn't exist but until every animal is in a warm, loving home we will continue to work towards a place of education and respect for all animals.
