MY SISTER DESERVES A CAR

My oldest sister Patricia Goodrich has been a second mother to me and my other siblings as we were growing up.  She has been dealt a bad hand in life, from both the family and outside the family.

However, she is taking life by the horns and overcoming the trials.  She is keeping the faith and strives to serve God however she can. 

She is in declining health but is still able to get a lot done.  She loves making crafts and helping others. She has assignments in church that allow her to serve.  

She has had to move to a facility designed for people with special issues.  She can come and go as she pleases, but the facility is too far from places like grocery stores, Walmart, or even convenience stores.

She is at the mercy of the special transportation services that are frequently late, making her late or have to reschedule doctors appointments. She has to rely on infrequent and inconvenient rides from others.  She gets a little food twice a month from the local pantry. 

Her SSi is enough for her expenses, but not enough for her to get a car.  I have helped her as much as I could, but I live 3 hours away and cannot do for her as I would like.  I have been helping some friends nearby who desparately needed my help.  

My sister is needing a medium size car such as a Toyota Camry because she has a special needs son (adult) who is tall. her four adult children live 3 hours from her, and they are in dire straits as well, so she wants to be able to visit them and help them.
