PCT to Get Youth in the Wild

Donation protected
On April 18th, 2015 Avry and Arielle will start a thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail to benefit the Seattle-based YMCA program GOLD/BOLD, which teaches a diverse group of young people leadership in the great outdoors.

The Pacific Crest Trail is a 2,650 mile trail that stretches from Mexico to Canada. We'll be walking the entire trail, border-to-border, to get low-income kids outside.

First and foremost, we hope you donate to the cause (click here). 100% of the funds we raise go directly to scholarships for low-income youth. You can help kids that might not otherwise have the opportunity get outdoors — donate and help us reach our $10,000 goal and get 20 young people outside.

As none of the funding we raise will help us along our journey, we created this fundraiser to help with the expenses. We so appreciate any donations. A couple bucks buys us a can of fuel for our dinners. A couple more helps us with the five pairs of shoes we’ll walk through over the months. We appreciate any and all of your generosity.

Thank you so much for being a part of this journey!
