Bradley's Battle with Encephalitis

On Monday August 10th, Bradley's life took a very unexpected turn. His mother Julie, received a phone call from his high school soccer coach saying Bradley had a seizure and the ambulance was taking him to the Frankfort Hospital. After 4 long hours there, he was transported to the University of Kentucky and that's where he still is today. He has been diagnosed with encephalitis. Due to Bradley being only 16, he is actually in the Children's hospital. He is definitely the tallest child at the Children's hospital standing 6'1"!!! 

The journey at UK began with trial & error medications to stop the seizures due to his inflamed brain. Unfortunately, the meds did not work and the WONDERFUL doctors decided to put him in a medically induced coma and put him on a ventilator to let his brain completely rest giving it time to heal. As of today, August 14th, we are anxiously waiting for his brain to heal and get our old funny, bashful and charming Bradley back!

Bradley always has his mother sitting right next to him 24/7 and a very loving family cheering him on. He also has wonderful friends and a very supportive soccer team always checking on him! We all know he will pull through this but encephalitis can take weeks to months to completely heal. With this, comes many hospital bills and since his mother is always by his side, she is currently taking a leave of absence from work. Any help in getting Bradley back on his feet would be greatly appreciated. Rather it be a monetary donation, a word of encouragement or a small prayer.... Every little bit counts! We are certain Bradley will be back on the soccer field very soon!!!
