As most of you know , Dereck had a tragic fall on Sunday December 4th. Resulting in a head trauma with eye damage , one shattered knee and one fractured knee. He was out taking photos with friends in Memphis when he missed a grab climbing a fire escape and fell 25 feet. He has had a successful skull and brain surgery and has two knee surgeries coming up. Derecks passion is photography but his every day job that pays the bills is working at a moving company. Due to his extensive injuries and upcoming therapy, there is no foreseeable future as to when he will be able to work again or if he will even be able to go back to his job. Luckily Derecks camera survived the fall . The proceeds from this charity will be strictly going towards monthly bills and medical bills. He has had an extreme amount of support from the Memphis and Instagram community and is so grateful. If texts, calls and kind acts paid the bills, Dereck would not need a fundraiser. So thank you to everyone who has been supportive. He is lucky to be alive and any donation will help.
