**(If you didn't see the update posts): This is now for more than just my Mom's transplant costs, with the unfortunate events that have been happening over the past couple of months (March - May 2016), money raised will also help ease the overwhelming medical expenses for my Dad, Clint Warner.**
Hello! As many of may you know, my mother Debby has been undergoing major health complications over the past few years. Just recently the biggest issue has been her CKD (chronic kidney disease).
Within the past couple of months, it's been a downhill slope, but just recently, they've been able to get the ball rolling. First, they had her in surgery for a fistula to make it possible for her start dialysis, but her doctor decided they couldn't wait for it to heal & that she needs to start dialysis, pronto.
She now has a catheter in her chest & started her first session of dialysis Tuesday 9/1/15; which is phenomenal, but my mother is still in search of a live kidney donor, in hopes they're able to go through with a much needed transplant. Now for anyone who knows me or my family, knows that my mother also suffers from cirrhosis of the liver; which on the bright side is currently stable, but with her diabetes, on top of her CKD, ideally the doctors are hoping she'll be fit for a liver, pancreas, kidney transplant.
We're hoping that I will be a match so I can help my mom by being her live donor for the transplants, but I have yet to go through any donor testing, but I will soon.
I created this page to not only to hopefully raise money to help offset the major medical bills for my parents (who wouldn't think to reach out for support like this), but to also raise awareness for anyone who could possibly be a match & would like to be a live donor candidate for my mom!
Anything helps; whether it's a prayer, a share, a few bucks, or even a kidney!
