Chris' Expedition to Antarctica

Donation protected

Dream Big with Me
I'm going to be attempting the highest peak in Antarctica, Mount Vinson,  Dec 2016 but I need your help to do it.  This will be my 6th of the 7 summits, the goal of Dare7Summits and my life's dream since my military deployment in Afghanistan.

Located at the ends of the earth, the Vinson Massif standing at 4892m is the highest peak on the continent of Antarctica. Remote, isolated, and bitterly cold, the Vision Massif is an incredibly difficult and challenging summit for any mountaineer.

What is even more challenging is the cost.  All in, my personal travel and expedition costs will reach $60,000!  I'm going to be funding this expedition through a bank loan to take on the full costs but am looking for your support to help ease the pain.  Unfortunately, corporate sponsorship is out of the question (trust me I tried!), as they don't fund the little guy, only their own professional mountaineers.

Help keep the Dare7Summits dream alive.  Share this with friends.  Help fund this expedition.

Thank you rewards
Every donation and every amount is appreciated.  However, as an extra thanks for your generous donations, I would like to offer you some additional tokens of my appreciation.
> $25 - A hand written thank you card
> $50 - A Dare7Summits embroidered patch + the above
> $150   - A small vial containing water from Antarctica + all above
> $225 - From sea to sky: A small rock from sea level with your name brought to and left at the summit of Antarctica (or the highest point) + all above
> $1000 - A 60 min motivational presentation given to a group of your choice + all above (travel expenses not included)
