Danny R. Fender was an incredible person to many around him--a son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend. His life was deeply enriched by the close company of friends and family he kept near him, and his fun sense of humor kept those around him smiling. He would drop whatever he was doing to help anybody in need without hesitation. Nothing brought him more joy than helping and hanging out with those he loved. Sadly, his time on this planet was cut short due to his failing health.
Although he had quit drinking and smoking on his own and was determined to live a healthier life, Danny's health had tragically caught up to him. He was found in his mobile home on November 27, 2016. He is survived by his daughter and son, Erica Fender and Craig Fender; his three grandchildren, Jocelyn Fender, Chester Fender, and Casper Fender; his three sisters and brother, Rita Shoufler, Bobbie Richardson, Sandi Tatlock, and Greg Fender; and his nieces and nephews and their children.
Unfortunately, Danny did not have life insurance at the time of his death, leaving it up to his children to come up with the funds needed to cover the costs of his memorial and burial. It was Danny's wishes to be buried in Smithville Cemetary alongside his parents; and he would've wanted everybody he loved to gather one last time in his memory to pay their respects to the joyous life he lived.
Please help contribute to this fund so that we may see this incredible man--who brought so many of us so much joy over the years--have the memorial and burial service he wanted. His children ask for whatever help you can provide to assist with this meager request. Every little bit will help so much; no amount is too small.
