Speaking Through Dance

Hello, my name is Natane Frances and I have a passion for dance! The spark was ignited at the young age of two years. I am now 16 and the passion is just as strong as it was 14 years ago. 

Dance has been my vehicle of expression and my outlet for creativity. Dance is my smile, it's my tears, it's my best friend. 

While I love all genres of dance, ballet is my focus. Ballet has taught me discipline, poise, and confidence. It's stretched me beyond my comfort zone and has shaped me into the young lady I am today in school, in dance and in the community. 

My dance career includes rising through the ranks of being a beginning dancer to a Company dancer with Ballet On Wheels Dance School & Company. Having participated in numerous shows, I most recently had the honor of starring as Scarecrow in the reproduction of The Wiz. This year, I will be dancing in the lead role of Dorothy.

My love for ballet has afforded me the opportunity of a lifetime and that is to attend two prestigious summer intensive programs. After two auditions, I am very excited and grateful to have been offered a chance for both of these opportunities.  

My dream is that of every little girl dancing in her parent's living room or twirling through the aisles of the grocery store...dance on the main stage of bright lights and applause.
