Save Daisy the Yorkshire!

Donation protected
We are starting this donation for my grandmother's dog Daisy who has a tumor on her anal glands (apocrine gland adenocarcinoma). Currently she (my grandma) is being cared for in a rehabilitation home as a result of health problems and we've been taking turns caring for Daisy.
Daisy is a 9 year old Yorkshire terrier who was adopted by our grandmother with her brother Caesar (who sadly passed away years ago) when she was 2 years old and has been a huge joy and something to look forward to when we visited our grandmother for many years. Now that our grandma may not be living alone again, and the facility she's being cared for in does not allow dogs in the building - it has fallen upon us to care for Daisy and provide her with love and care.
This is our first time using any site like this, and although we understand that Daisy is an older dog, she is very much loved by all of us all and we are willing to try any and everything to keep her pain-free and comfortable. She is very skittish and she hates the vet office but the sooner we can get this taken care of, the sooner she can be rid of all the poking and proding and get back to spending time with us and my grandma, who although has suffered a series of mini-strokes still absolutely recognizes and enjoys Daisy's company when she gets to leave and spend a few hours with the family. Since both dog and owner are nearing the final stages of life, we would like for them to spend that time together - especially since grandma loves that dog as much if not more than her own grandchildren!! lol

We noticed that when Daisy was acting like she had to go out, and was attempting to use the bathroom, she would act funny when trying to go, backing up when squating, making strange sounds, running back and forth from the door to the yard in frustration maybe, sometimes not passing anything for days.
We took her to the doctor and the vet said she was swollen around the rectum and wanted to run some (expensive) tests. After doing blood tests and an ultrasound we were told she had a tumor on the right anal gland and although the mass was small, it was starting to infect the tissues around it.
Sadly, surgery may not cure her 100%, but since she is already an older dog (9 years) we're hoping to give her a couple more years and we don't feel that just because she's old we shouldn't try to give her the best quality of life we can.
After all the tests, the ultrasound, the chest x-ray, everything - the bill was over $800 and she hadn't even gotten the surgery yet. My uncle paid for the vast majority of this tab and now we are trying to pool money together for the actual surgery. Between all the aunts and uncles, and the older grandchildren we've raised almost $1,000 on top fo the $800 already spent. That means we need another $1,100 for the actual surgery and the follow-up visits and meds. Below is the estimate and where the money would be going:

Actual surgery (anal sac apocrine gland adenocarcenoma removal) - $1,600

Post-surgery care (check-up, taking the stitches out, medication, future care ect.): $580

Possible chemo/radiation (this is not included in the goal, but any extra funds we may receive will go to this, if we decide to put her through that and if it's needed)

Any funds that are not needed will go directly to the local humane society.

Whatever is given we want you to know that we're extremely grateful and know this is going to make a lot of people really happy, most of all Daisy and our grandmother who loves her dog more than almost anything. Thank you.
