Surprise School Tuition To Sam

My friend Sam is about to start his med school applications and is in financial trouble. He has no idea I'm making this gofundme for him. I want to surprise him with a fully-paid tuition by the start of the spring semester next year in January.I'm doing this because is my friend and I love him, and his family is unfortunately unable to help with his tuition due to being in a financial pit themselves with their home foreclosing, the dad losing his job, and with a lot of medical bills this year.

So let me tell you a little about Sam. He has his bachelor's degree and now needs to take several classes to get his master's at the University of Texas. He bikes about 15 miles a day, to and from class, in 100-degree plus Texas heat, and is living from paycheck to paycheck. By the end of August, he will owe the university $8,000, and even though he works fulltime, he isn't going to be able to afford this amount.

He's applied for scholarships but the grant money he has earned isn't enough to cover the whole bill. Simply put, I know his situation could be improved if he had help on his tuition and I know it would make him very happy if I could surprise him with any amount of money, but I want to do him one better and give him enough to cover his entire tuition, a cheap craigslist car that will save him from heat, rain and the upcoming winter, an emergency fund for him, and enough to pay for his textbooks next year. It's currently extremely hard for a lot of US students to keep up on their tuition, but in this case, you can make a huge difference for one student. Please help if you can!

I met Sam and his family in October, 2012. They took me in and treated me like one of their own kids, even though they were dealing with their home foreclosing. Now I want to give back. If you can give anything, you will be making a huge difference in the life of a future doctor... And you will be impacting the people he saves.
