Puppy vet expenses

This is my 4 month old German Sheppard, Laxus. He isn't the most graceful puppy, and this morning he attempted to jump up somewhere he shouldn't have and fell off, fracturing his leg. I took him to the vet and it's going to cost $770 to get him fixed up. Which is a sum I can't afford. My wife and I were given the only alternatives of surrendering him, in which case we would never see him again. Or of putting him down. We are unable to have children, and he is the closest thing we have to a child. I am hoping to raise enough money to get his leg fixed, because I don't want to lose him.
