Crystal Records 1st Music CD

Donation protected
I am doing this Go Fund Me account for my daughter Crystal.  October is almost here and the recording studio is reserved. I trusted that the goal would be met and still have faith that someone out there cares enough to help Crystal meet her goal.

Developing a career "grassroots" isn't easy.  We lowered the amount needed because I have put all the money that I can afford toward helping Crystal to make this trip.  We still need a little more.  Please show your support for Crystal and share her link with your friends. I've never asked for anything from friends or family (not even when selling Girl scout Cookies) but we could really use help now. Here is the original post where Crystal tells her story.
My name is Crystal Dennis. I'm a blind singer of mostly Celtic music,  with a dream of recording my first professional CD.  I've been coached by one of the best vocal coaches in Los Angeles, Ca, Mr. Dave Stroud.

Although I've been singing since age 7, in 2013, I decided to sing professionally and have been pursuing singing as a career since then.

Last December 2014, with the encouragement of Dave Stroud and the support of family and friends, I did a concert.  I've performed in public before, but never did a concert by alone that lasted two hours.  Well, I loved it!

After the concert I got more offers to sing at private events and was written up in "Our Hometown Magazine" with my family.  My professional career was beginning.

Then why am I here?  Well, in January 2015, my family and I were displaced due to an apartment fire and lived in a hotel for five months, looking for an apartment.  Any offer of job that I got, I couldn't take because I had no money for travel expenses.

Being blind, I need someone to accompany me to new locations and mostly due to our situation, my mother had to work longer hours and couldn't get me to gigs like she did previuosly.  Staying at the hotel while apartment hunting took alot of our resources but the offers to sing kept coming.

Well offers are great but you need the money even to fullfill the offers as many performers already know.  My biggest offer yet is fly to Chicago to finally record a professional CD.  I plan to go on October 23rd, 2015.

I'm asking on GoFundMe.com for donations to help me fullfill this dream of recording my first CD.  My opportunity is finally here, but I need your help.  I'm raising $3,000. USD,  to fly to Chicago and for 5 days of lodging and sustanence while I complete the CD.  I recently found out the session is going to be professionally  video taped as well.

Everything is ready, they're just waiting for me.  If you've ever had a dream so close yet seeming so unreachable, you know how I feel.  I will be recording at the Schamberg Art Institute of Chicago in their fully equipped studio.  I'm asking for your help, no amount is too small.  Help me pursue this dream, because it's so close.
I lost my sight when I was 10 years old.  When I was 13 and in Middle School, my choir teacher told my mom to always encourage my singing.  She said it would become my passion and my profession.  Mom has always done just that.   My choir teacher was right, singing has certainly become my dream and my passion. I feel blessed to share it and I'll finally have the opportunity, with your help.

If you are unable to donate right now, I'd appreciate you sharing my story and my Go Fund Me Campaign with your friends and family.  If you have any questions feel free to ask with the links provided. I still believe.....
