Healthier Outcomes,Brighter Futures

Hamilton County, Ohio has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the nation. One of the reasons for these high rates is because women are not seeking necessary healthcare. In an effort to encourage pregnant women to seek proper prenatal healthcare, KDM is partnering with Cradle Cincinnati, a local cooperative trying to make a change.

Because a welcoming environment is important in a healthcare center, we have set a goal for KDM to remodel one of the local Hamilton County centers.  We hope to make an impact on lowering the infant mortality rate in Cincinnati and Hamilton County by making a welcoming healthcare center.  Our plan is to have met our  fundraising goal in time to start remodeling our center in October of 2015.
