Team USA World Championship Race

I have faced many adversities in my journey but, I have overcome each and every one evolving into a stronger woman because of it.  I have been competing in running, triahlons, and most recently, stand up paddleboarding, for 10 years.  During that time I have been through numerous tests trying to tame what appears to be Lymes disease, was attacked by a dog on a training run a week before I raced in a World Championship Trail run (placed 12th overall), survived a house fire on Mothers Day, and became a full time single mother.  I am an athlete, personal trainer, fitness instructor, nutritional consultant, and life coach, volunteer Sunday school teacher, and philanthropist helping to re-create a fundraising Facebook page for a Kenyan elite athlete for the local village children.  It is a challenge to balance all that I do and give each role 100%.  As my daughter grows older and my time is consumed with her interests, it is more difficult than ever to find the time to train hard to perform my best in the races that I am passionate about.  I no longer have the time to compete  in ultra-marathons Ironman distance road triathlons from which I have placed in top ten.  In 2014  I qualified for the  Team USA Cross-Triathlon World Championship for the 5th consecutive year.  This year it is held in Italy and if I make it with your help it will be my first international race.  The past few years I was on the team but could not make the event because I was homeless after our fire and the following year my daughter was not in a place where I could leave her for a week.  I have a strong faith and I feel as though this year is my year.   The year to celebrate all that I have been through and pursue the dream to compete with Team USA before moving onto large scale racing goals for SUP racing.  Any contribution at all will help me to get there.  There are 5 spots on my race kit which will be worn in Italy during the race for logos of sponsors.  I am reserving those spots for any company or person willing to donate $800  or more.  That spot could be yours!
