I've been accepted to the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University. It's the top journalism school in the nation and has a 6.9% acceptance rate. This honor represents the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication to pursuing my dreams with the support of my family and friends.

Throughout my college career I've had to work and pay tuition without the ability to get Financial Aid. I plan to fund my education at Columbia through work and scholarships. However,  I can't do this on my own. Tuition and books will cost $66,000.

I'm asking for the support of my community to help me manifest this vision: to make a positive impact on the world through my work.

I  promise to pay back  your generosity by leaving a footprint on this earth and inspiring others to overcome whatever obstacles stand in their way.
