I really hate asking for money, but me and my grandma are in such a position that I see no other way out.
Both me and my grandma work, but they are not the best paid jobs. As a full-time student at college, I do not have the ability to go and get a second job, and my grandma already works herself sick at her current job.
We have not paid our rent in two, going on three months, and our bills just keep coming. Our water was turned off yesterday morning, and will not be turned back on for a few days. Not only that, but my grandma has received a ticket that, unless paid, will prevent her from driving to her job and ultimately result in her getting fired.
We also have three pets; two ferrets and a dog that need taken care of. I love them like they are my own children, and keeping them well-fed and healthy is a huge concern of mine. With our lack of funds,though, it just keeps geting harder and scarier the farther down the hole we fall.
My goal with this campaign is to pay off our bills and get the water turned back on, pay back our landlord the money we owe, keep our pets and ourselves fed, and just use the money to help pay for anything that we will need to help us get back off our feet.
If we are able to make our goal amount, then we will be able to breathe easy. Our focus will just be on making money for future bills, not worrying about what we haven't paid.
