Claudia K.(35J) braucht Ihre Hilfe, um wieder zurück ins Leben und zu ihrem schwer behinderten Sohn und ihrem Ehemann zu kommen!
Das ist nun schon der zweite schwere Schicksalsschlag, der uns als kleine Familie widerfuhr.
Unsere Geschichte begann 2014.
Unser gemeinsamer Sohn Oskar kam auf die Welt. Aufgrund einer Schwangerschaftsvergiftung musste er in der 26.Schwangerschaftswoche per Kaiserschnitt geholt werden.
Da er nur 380 Gramm wog, gab es wenig Hoffnung, dass er das überleben wird. Aber er überlebte die Geburt und entwickelte sich sehr gut. Er wurde mit mehr als 1000g entlassen.
Nach 8 Tagen zu Hause dann der große Schock! Als er in den Armen meiner Frau Claudia lag, atmete er plötzlich nicht mehr! Sofort begann Claudia mit der Reanimation. Nach 10 min war der Notarzt da und fuhr mit den Wiederbelebungsmaßnahmen um weitere 20 Minuten fort. Dann kam der Herzschlag wieder. Er überlebte. Durch den schweren Sauerstoffmangel blieb eine Zerebralparese zurück.
Mittlerweile ist Oskar fast vier Jahre alt und kann weder laufen, noch selbstständig essen und trinken, geschweige denn sprechen. Er wird über eine Sonde in der Bauchdecke ernährt. Er ist schwer pflege-bedürftig und braucht viel Zuwendung. Gemeinsam stellten wir uns der Verantwortung und begannen alles für unseren Sohn zu tun.
Ich kam oft an meine Grenzen, aber Claudia war stark! Sehr stark! Sie war diejenige, die immer die Kraft fand, egal was war: sie war da und wusste, was zu tun war. Wenn er schlechte atmete saugte sie die Atemwege ab. Musste der Ernährungsbutton, über den Oskar ernährt wird, gewechselt werden, sie tat es. Andere fahren dafür ins Krankenhaus.
Die unzähligen Arzt- und Therapiebesuche und der ewige Kampf mit der Krankenkasse um wichtige Hilfsmittel, waren für Claudia kein Problem. Sie erledigte alles. Nebenher ging sie noch in Teilzeit arbeiten. Es war Ihre Lebensaufgabe alles für unseren Sohn zu tun. Liebevoll und mit voller Hingabe nahm sie jeglichen Aufwand in Kauf!
Im April 2018 kam dann der zweite Schicksalsschlag!
Claudia kam selbst ins Krankenhaus. Da ihre Gallenblase entzündet war, sollte diese entfernt werden. Dabei handelt es sich um einen Routineeingriff. Am Vortag der OP bekam sie noch ein Antibiotikum – wieder Routine. Jedoch reagierte sie prompt allergisch auf dieses Medikament und aufgrund eines anaphylaktischen (allergischen) Schocks erlitt sie einen Herzstillstand! Wie unser Sohn, wurde sie reanimiert.
Anschließend kam sie auf die Intensivstation und wurde in ein künstliches Koma gelegt. Als sie aus dem künstlichen Koma nicht mehr erwachte, stand die Diagnose Hirnschaden im Raum. Daraufhin wurde sie in eine neurologische Klinik verlegt, um dort eine Frührehabilitation zu erhalten.
Claudia lag im Wachkoma, sie wachte erst einige Wochen später wieder auf, aber nicht so wie man es aus dem Fernsehen kennt. Sie muss vieles neu lernen. Bis heute hat sie sehr gute Fortschritte gemacht.
Sie kann mittlerweile schon für 1-2 Stunden im Rollstuhl sitzen, auch kann sie wieder selbstständig essen, jedoch fällt ihr das Sprechen noch sehr schwer.
Das große Problem ist nun, dass die Krankenkasse den Krankenhausaufenthalt nicht länger genehmigt, da die Zeit für eine Frühreha in der Regel 6 Monate nicht übersteigen soll. Sie erholt sich nur langsam, braucht noch viel Pflege.
Ihre einzige Chance nun nicht auf das Abstellgleis, in dem Falle ein normales Alten- bzw. Pflegeheim, zu kommen, ist eine therapeutische Pflegeeinrichtung der Phase F. Dort bekommt sie neben der Pflege auch weiterhin die so wichtigen Therapien. Diese sind absolut notwendig, damit sie weiterhin Fortschritte machen kann. Bekommt sie diese nicht, kann ihr Gehirn nicht weiter lernen, um sich wieder zu regenerieren.
Das therapeutische Pflegezentrum kostet jedoch viel Geld, die monatliche Selbstbeteiligung liegt bei ca.3000€ !
Da Claudia kein eigenes Einkommen mehr hat, muss ich alle Kosten wie Miete, Auto etc. alleine tragen, somit ist mir eine Zuzahlung für die Einrichtung nicht möglich.
Ihre Genesung hängt fast ausschließlich vom Finanziellen ab. Sie braucht diese Einrichtung, damit sie eines Tages wieder zurück ins Leben und auch zurück zu ihrer Familie kommen kann!
Ich arbeite Vollzeit und übernehme die Pflege für unseren Sohn. Das wird auf Dauer eine immense Belastung für uns beide.
Ich bitte Sie um eine Spende, damit Claudia ihr Leben wieder leben kann und Oskar seine Mama wieder bekommt.

This is already the second heavy blow of fate that our little family had to experience.

Our child Oskar was born. Because of a toxemia of pregnancy, the doctors delivered him by Caesarean section.
As he only weighed 380 gr, there was only little hope that he’ll survive. But he did survive his birth and made good progress. He was released from hospital with more than 1000 gr.
After eight days at home, however, the big shock! When he lay in my wife’s arms, he stopped breathing! Claudia immediately started to reanimate him. After ten minutes the emergency doctor arrived and started the revitalization measures for another 20 minutes. Then, his heartbeat came back. He survived. Due to the strong oxygen deficit, he suffers from a cerebral palsy.
Now, Oskar is almost four years old and is neither able to walk, eat and drink independently, nor speak. He is nourished through a stomach tube. He needs a high degree of care and needs lots of attention. Together, we took on the responsibility and started to do everything for our on. I often reached my limits, but Claudia was strong! Extremely strong! She was the one who always found strength, no matter what: she was there and knew what to do. When he had trouble breathing, she aspirated his respiratory tract. When the nourishing button, which feeds Oskar, needed to be changed, she did it. Others would go to the hospital to let it be done. The countless doctor and therapy visits and the ongoing fight with the health insurance for important aids were no problem for Claudia. She did everything. At the same time, she also worked part time. It was her purpose in life to do everything for our son. Caring and with abandon she accepted any effort!
The second blow of fate occurred in April 2018!
Claudia was taken to hospital herself. Her gallbladder should have been removed as it was inflamed. This should have been a routine procedure. The day before the surgery, she got antibiotics—routine again. However, she got allergic reactions to the medication and because of an anaphylactic shock, she suffered from a cardiac arrest! Just as our son, she had to be reanimated.
Afterwards, she was transferred to the intensive care unit and put into an artificial coma. She did not awake from the artificial coma, the doctors diagnosed a potential brain damage. Then, she was transferred to a neurological clinic to receive early rehabilitation. Claudia was in a persistent vegetative state and only woke up a couple of weeks later, however, not as you might know it from TV.
She needs to relearn a lot. Until now, she made good progress. She can sit in a wheelchair for already 1-2 hours, she is also able to eat independently, but speaking is still very difficult for her.
The big issue now is that the health insurance does not approve the hospital stay any longer because the time for early rehabilitation should not exceed six months. She only recovers slowly and still needs lots of care. Her only chance to not be shunted into the sidings, that is, a standard nursing home, is to get into a therapeutic care facility of Phase F. There, she gets care but also all important therapies.
These are absolutely necessary for her to continue making progress. If she does not get those, her brain is not able to continue learning and to regenerate.
The therapeutic care center costs lots of money and the monthly deductible is at approximately 3,000 €!
Because Claudia does not have her own income any more, I have to cover all costs, such as, rent, car, etc., therefore, I cannot afford an additional payment for the care center.
Her recovery mainly relies on these financials. She needs the care center, so she will be able to find her way back to life and that she can come back to her family!
I work full time and take over the care of our son. In the long-term, this will be a heavy burden for both of us. I ask you for a donation so Claudia can live her life again and Oskar gets back his mom. If someone earns it, then it is her.
I’ve rarely met a person who is so selfless and cares with all her strength about her family! It would only be fair that we can give this back to her now.
A deadlock of the therapies would be a deadlock for Claudia!
