Hi everyone,
On behalf of my sister, Erica, and brother-in-law, Mark, whom I affectionally call Team Smith, I am asking for your help. Yesterday began as any ordinary day until approximately 9am when Mark was critically injured while working as a flagger at a construction site (http://wnep.com/2015/11/09/flagger-injured-by-vehicle/) . He is my sister's rock, her better half, the one that keeps her sane. I officiated their wedding and know that it is rare to find the kind of love they share with each other. Today, he is fighting, fighting to heal, recover, and to walk again. No one knows what the future will hold or how fast his recovery will be. What we all know is that time away from work, for both Erica and Mark, can wreck havoc on a home. It can cause undue anxiety and stress and can inhibit his ability to rest and heal properly. I am praying from the bottom of my heart that he makes a full and speedy recovery and I am asking for you to do the same. I am also hopeful that the community surrounding them can come to their aid. I set up this gofundme account to help keep their family afloat until Mark can work once again. I also set it up since my sister will need to take unpaid time away from work to care for her husband. We all know that even in the midst of a crisis bills do not stop coming. Please contribute what you can even if it is prayers and well wishes.
