Chervenak Family Relief

On November 29th 2017, the family of Steve Chervenak suffered an unthinkable tragedy. His wife, Amy, and 11 year old daughter were run down by a crazed driver of a truck in front of their residence in Phoenix, AZ. Neighbors were able to restrain the driver after the apparent intentional act, until the Phoenix Police Department arrived on scene.

Neighbors in the area stated to media outlets that they had witnessed the driver of the vehicle operating recklessly through the neighborhood, and one report even stated that he attempted to run down other pedestrians in the area before finding his victims.

Steve's wife lost her life, and his daughter suffered serious injuries that will require long recovery time after extensive surgery.

It is unthinkable as to the pain and grief the Chervenak family is suffering through.

Steve is a Sergeant with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, and has honorably and selflessly served our community since 2007. He has a long road ahead of him piecing life back together the best he can, while coping through the pain which has befallen the entire family.

This campaign has been started by the friends and co-workers of Stephen Chervenak. He is the beneficiary of all funds from this effort to use for the costs his family is incurring as a result of this tragedy. The family has granted permission for this campaign prior to its launch. They have requested the media respect their privacy during this tragedy. The Chervenak family has, and is, enduring a tremendous amount of trauma.
