Help Make Education Awesome!

My Name is Lee McCloskey (Im on the right), I am a 5th year teacher at Chesapeake Bay Middle School in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Myself and my Friend Andrew Parker who is also a teacher at Lansdowne Middle School (Baltimore County) started a YouTube page called the Singing History Teachers. We started our group with the goal of creating a fun and engaging way to teach children different concepts through the use of music and videos. The Video above is just an example of what we love to do.

To me teaching is not just a job its everything. When I'm not at work I'm always thinking of new ideas, songs and videos. As we have been working together for 2 years on this project only starting to create videos in the last year we have run into a problem of funding. Already we have invested over $1500 dollars and sadly this is not enough.

We are looking for money to help us buy new costumes, equipment, and also rent out locations for better quality video. We do not intend to make any money from these videos and we will place them free of charge on YouTube and TeacherTube. Every dollar helps, and it will go directly to creating new content.
