"The Adventures of Celia Kaye" is a children's book about a little girl named Celia Kaye who has something she thinks she needs to hide. She goes to great lengths to keep her mysterious secret concealed from her friends by becoming a master storyteller.
It is often difficult and frustrating for children to navigate food allergies and intolerances. This book is designed to help kids cope with and understand not only celiac disease, but all differences.
Kids will follow Celia Kaye on her adventures as she creates stories about her limitations using unlimited imagination.
"The Adventures of Celia Kaye" is written by Huffington Post lifestyle blogger Kaitlin Puccio (under the name Celia Kaye) and illustrated by Grammy-nominated artist and art director Sarah Larnach. It has been published by the small press Bent Frame, created by Kaitlin Puccio for the thousands of children with celiac disease or other differences they may want to hide, in the hopes of transcending the idea that a book of this type will only reach a "niche" market.
To help this book reach as many children as possible, we need help funding the final stage of the book: publicity.
