Help me see my father one last time

I recently moved to Tel Aviv. After being here for a month, I got the call that my father fell down a flight of stairs outside his house and sustained a severe head injury.
My father was brought to the hospital on Tuesday morning, where he has remained unconscious and unable to breathe without the assistance of a machine. The doctors have found severe swelling in his brain, as well as bleeding from various sites. They have explained that for injuries this severe, there is almost negligble hope for recovery.
I am my father's next of kin, and I haven't seen him since Christmas. I cannot bear the idea of sitting home in Israel while he dies in a hospital bed in Massachusetts.
Flights to Boston are currently between $1400-2000, which is simply out of my budget. Additionally, while I am home I am not positive I will have a place to stay or a car to use, and may need to pay for those things as well as food.
If there is anything you can spare to help me see my father, I would be grateful. Please pass this along.
