I don't know about you guys but working in corporate America has made me feel like there has to be MORE to life. In the midst of "what am I doing with my life" I thought, let's take it step by step and do the most good when possible.
Named after my late mother - Joan, and my son, Ian Jonah -- through Jonah's Cares, I hope to making a meaningful contribution to the sectors of our country that need it the most. And, I hope to distill that same desire in my two year old.
Here is what we're after: NEW Backpacks, lunch boxes, pencils, pens, erasers, two-pocket folders, binders, loose-leaf paper , notebooks (both spiral & composition), scientific calculators, crayons, colored pencils, markers, calculators, rulers, protractors, pencil sharpeners, pencil cases, glue sticks, scissors and index cards.
Depending on the volume, I am hoping to distribute these supplies to principals of Jersey City schools so that they can directly distribute to students and families who come to school without.
