At the beginning of June I was "put on vacation" while some major shenanagans occurred at my work..major corporate upheaval to say the least... and I was collateral damage and lost my position that I LOVED for the last 3 years as the Exec Chef for CSU Stanislaus. We didn't expect for that to happen and had little in the bank to cushion the blow.
We are asking for help to get us across the US to a new position that I have accepted at Stonehill College in Easton, MA. This is such a great opportunity for me. Stonehill is just starting their sustainability program and I just built one at CSU Stan. It's also a promotion, raise and with a company that I have been chasing for years.
We're just asking for a little help with gas, lodging, deposits, rental fees, a plane ticket or 2 and just a basic hand.
We are selling everything that is worth anything to lighten our load.
And we have to drag four other family members with us.
If you are still reading this--thank you for taking the time. At least give us some words of encouragement, advice, love and support. We need that too.

PS: If some random karmic act of justice in an Internet world where a guy can make 80K in order to make potato salad for 10 people, we were to surpass the ideal amount the excess monies will be donated to an Animal Rescue in our new community.
