Chicago Trans Pride is an independent and public gathering to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and resilience of the trans* community in Chicago. Chicago's trans* community has a lot to be proud of in 2014 and what better way to celebrate than a lakefront beach party.
Since the overwhelming response of over 450 people have decided to join, in order to provide saftey and secure space for this Sunday and future Trans* Pride events, we must obtain a city permit. The team has been working with the Alderman and the City to quickly obtain this permit, but we need the communities support to financially secure this permit.
Since this is a non-sponsoroed, non-organization and community-led event, we need everyone who can to pitch in few dollars to make this happen. We only have about 72 hours to do this. So please share and make this an important call to action.
