Hello,
My name is Yvonne Anarfi and have worked in Child Protection Field since 2003. I am passionate about children and young people's wellbeing and trust in God that this is the area He wants to use me in.I have started a Charity (an NGO) called Children Safeguarding Affairs Foundation (C-SAF) in my homeland- Ghana. Upon numerous visits there I noticed the severirty and enormity of child abuse and the necessity of standardised practice across the country, regarding this immense problem.
To progress the Charity efficiently I am trying to raise at least £10,000 on top of my own savings to fund workshops across Ghana, setting up Youth Champion Forums and educating the Youths, broadcasting adverts and viral campaigns in Ghana- to raise awareness and in the long-term, forging links with Faith Organisation to provide shelter and support to abused children and offering incentives to all participating organisations. This will significantly reduce Child Abuse, raise awareness, change some cultural mindset and offer aftercare.
Our children are the next generation, our aim should be to help educate and raise them in such a way that they can be even better leaders and society shapers than us and have a zero tolerance to child abuse. By donating towards this not-for-profit charity you would not only be helping me fulfil my purpose but also impacting hundreds of peoples' lives. We appreciate and are truly thankful for any donations given. We will update you on our progress.
