Maybe you saw something here. You rocked out with your friends. You laughed away a bad day. You took the family to see a holiday classic.
Maybe you haven't been here at all. But you've heard of it. Your co-worker does shows here and never stops talking about it. You read about it in Wareham Weekly and have been meaning to check it out. You're glad there is a place for the performing arts in your community.

Buzzards Play Productions is working on several fundraising projects to SAVE OUR HOME! Due to the historic winter last year and the cancellation of several shows, BPP has worked hard to try to catch up and recuperate. As we continue to do so, we're looking for your help to keep us in our space and help us improve equipment and resources to continue to bring the performing arts to the Wareham community!
The circumstances are dire, but that's never stopped us before! NOW is the time! Now is your opportunity to help!

Buzzards Play Productions is a 501 c 3 non profit completely dedicated to the performing arts. We are a fully functional venue staffed by a small group of volunters. The Rogers family started BPP in April of 2011 with the intention and passion to bring Theatre and Music to Wareham and the South Coast of Massachusetts.

Buzzards Play Productions aims to inspire, encourage and enlighten our community through all creative arts.
By way of live theatre, music, dance and visual arts, comedy, our goal is simple:

MUSIC
3065 LIVE is the name of our music department. We host many solo artists and bands, fostering creative spirits and providing an outlet to play and enjoy LIVE original music. In our space, musicians and techies are given the opportunity to dream and see part of those dreams played out. Some previous acts gracing the 3065LIVE stage include: Charlie Farren, Thee Midnight Society, Shaun England and friends, Our Last Night , Jillian Jensen, Beautiful Tuesday, Frankie Muniz and Kingsfoil and Devil's Twins.
THEATRE
Our theatre department has brought to the stage crowd favorites like Rent, Cabaret, The Rocky Horror Show and A Christmas Carol, in addition to introducing some lesser known titles with productions of The Addams Family and The Foreigner. We've hosted original pieces, workshops, classes and revues and we're working toward adding a children's program! Our dedicated actors and production team members are adults who enjoy putting some art into the world when they get out of work, college students and twenty-somethings honing their crafts, and first-timers fulfilling a bucket list item or trying something new. Our audiences are never dissappointed!
COMEDY
BPP's very own Carolee's Comedy Corner brings top rated and critically accaimed comedians to our area. We provide a relaxed, cabaret style setting to enjoy lots of laughs! Chris Tabb, Kerry Louise, Dave Russo, Ray Harrington, Linda Belt, Corey Manning, and Tom Stewart are just some of the comedians Carolee's Comedy Corner has featured. We have also had a performance by The Paperback Comedians for BPP's Comedy Department. AJ Hapenny brings the newest comedians from all over to our stage.
EXTRAS
- Twice per month, we host an open mic to encourage anyone to try their hand at music and comedy. It is done in an environment that supports and promotes creativity, craft and courage!
- We host FREE improv workshops every other Tuesday, where anyone can come and play and try and learn and build on the skill of improvisation.
COMMUNITY
- We provide space for band practice of many local bands, such as Edd.
- We offer space for educational groups to work together on projects and team-building, such as the Nemaskett Group.
- We've helped other local non-profits, such as Peace for Ponies Animal Rescue, Cranberry Coast children's music camp and Turning Point.
Everyone who spends time at BPP/3065 leaves with more than they started. Let's give back to a place that has given so much to so many. Many thanks in advance!!!
