A man who helped so many needs help

An amazing police officer and an even greater man, who spent his life and career selflessly helping thousands of people, is in need of your help.  Robert “Beaver” Andris III joined the Franklin Park Police Department in 1983.  Bob retired in 2010 from the Franklin Park police force, and he then joined the Stone Park Police Department, where he is currently employed.  Bob has performed such duties as detective, tactical/narcotics investigator, and evidence technician.  Bob, and his life-long friend and former co-worker Lee Holland, founded the Franklin Park Narcotics Unit in 1988, and the unit (now referred to as the tactical unit) still exists today.  His legacy remains strong in Franklin Park, years after he retired and joined the Stone Park Police, who are honored to call him a co-worker.  A few months ago while on duty Bob experienced memory loss and could not remember where the police station was located.  He was diagnosed with neuroblastoma (a cancerous brain tumor) shortly thereafter.  Bob is terminally ill and is on Hospice.  He is married to Deborah and together they have four adult children.  Bob and Deborah also have four grandchildren.  Three of the grandchildren are younger children which Bob and Deborah have custody of, and they reside at their residence.  Bob is an amazing father to his children and an amazing father figure to his grandchildren.  He is a man who is well respected and loved by everyone he meets.  Bob is the primary bread winner for his wife and three young grandchildren and he is unable to work due to his illness.  The medical bills are mounting and he and his family are in need of financial support.  It is time to help a man who would not only take the shirt off of his back for anyone, but would give you his shoes too.  This is posted by friends (former and current co-workers) of Bob.  Thank you in advance.
