Birthday Cheer for Brayden & Jocelyn

Meet two Pittsburgh kids, Jocely and Brayden: Due to their family situation, these two children don't get to enjoy many of the things we take for granted...like birthday parties. Without the financial means to provide something as seemingly simple as a birthday party, not only do these children miss out on an important part of their childhood, but it also has the effect of making the parents feel inadequate and more hopeless in their situation. Thanks to the local non-profit, Beverly's Birthdays, who we are teaming up with, and our wonderful clients, both of these kids will be able to have their very own birthday party this year! At their birthday parties, the parents are encouraged to participate and enjoy the positive time with their children. You can see the joy and relief on their faces, as they are able to build their relationship with their children.
Jocelyn will be turning 9 this year and is eagerly anticipating her second birthday party! This year she is going to have a Mad Science party. Jocelyn loves to learn about the world around her and what better way to do that than to be a mad scientist for a day? Hopefully this will be the last Beverly's Birthdays party for Jocelyn as she, her brother, her sister, and her mother move on to bigger and better things, but for now, we will celebrate Jocelyn's 9th birthday with wonder and joy.
Brayden is turning 10 years old and, as any normal 10 year old would, LOVES to play with whatever toys he can get his hands on. Transformers, Ninja Turtles, cars, trucks, or anything with wheels. Things aren't always easy for Brayden though, as he has autism and rarely uses his words to express his emotions, so, he often does so through the toys he plays with instead.
Without your help and Beverly's Birthdays, these children wouldn't be able to have this wonderful gift. The money raised during this campaign will go towards giving Brayden and Jocelyn a memorable birthday party in July. By donating to this community cause, you can make these two children feel like the most special kids in the world on their special day.
