Josh needs to go back to college

Hey everybody, I thought I'd give this a go, putting my pride beside me and my happiness first for the first time in my life. 

If I were to ask any of you if you were sincerely happy with your life; what would you say? I would hope for all of you the answer is yes. For those of you who say no, I would hope that you would say that you're heading in a direction that you will one day be happy. For me, in my current situation, I can honestly say I am not happy, nor am I heading in a direction that will make me happy.

For those of you who know me, you know that I started my own business years ago, what you didn't know was why. I told most of you that it was because there was a niche that needed to be filled, and I had the idea to fill it. Don't get me wrong, that was true, however I didn't tell you the ultimate reason I went into business, and the truth is, it was because I was too proud. See, the true reason I started my company was because I felt like I had no other option. Those of you who know me from my college years, I truly attempted college, but unfortunately due to a mix up with financial aid, I ended up being forced to withdraw from my pre-med program at Roberts Wesleyan College. Furthermore, I ended up being in debt to the college and unable to contine my college education. Because I owed money to a private school, I was unable to go elsewhere, especially for medical. Due to these factors, I started my business. Fortunately, I found a way to start it up with minimal capital. Unfortunately however, as years have gone by, my business is not doing nearly as well as I would like it to be, and I am also completely miserable with it. I sat down, thought about my future with the company and without it, and what would truly make me happy is continuing my education in the medical field. I decided that I want to continue my education in biology, eventually leading to a career in synthetic biology and genetics. I sincerely want to make an impact in the science world, and make a difference in peoples lives. I have the potential to do so, but the business has only been self sustaining, not profitable, so I need help with the funds. That is where I need your help.

Over the past 4 years, I have worked off quite a chunk of my debt, but I still owe $15,000. With that paid back, I can continue my education, and finally look forward to a future. Now, I full-heartedly understand that $15,000 is quite a bit, but honestly, I'm not asking for much from each of you, I just need help to get the ball rolling. It is taking a lot for me to admit that I need help, it's taking even more for me to admit that I'm not happy with the direction my life is headed if I cannot go back to school, but I seriously cannot do this without you all. I realize it may seem like there would not be any reason for you to donate to my cause, but truthfully, anybody who does, even if it's only $5, will be my hero.
