Hey everyone... little update....
As you are all aware, lucia has begun the treatment of blinatumomab while she awaits a bone marrow donor to be found. This is a 24/7 intravenous treatment for 28 days at a time. Lucia can only have 4 of these treatments maximum so time is very precious.
All the extra added stress of lucia being poorly and having survived sepsis and other infections her poor mum has developed heart problems resulting in her needing a pacemaker fitted urgently.
This needs to be paid for.
We are raising funds to help with the cost of everything, bearing in mind her mum has left behind her businesses to care for her daughter, being ill in another country that you don’t speak the language is a very scary thing, we just want to take away the worry of how she will pay for her treatment too.
