The Beartime Stories Project allows people all over the world to read a bedtime story to parentless children.
Remember how your parents read to you at bedtime?
Unfortunately, not every child is lucky enough to have those memories.
Our hope is to make sure these children are not forgotten. And with your help they won't be.
Record yourself reading aloud your favorite bedtime story and send your recording in. Yours and other people's stories are put on mp3 players embedded into teddy bears, so they can read out your story when no one else is there. These bears are then given to children's homes all over the world.
Fund a bear and its way to read unique stories to children who have no one else to read to them. Your donation will help us to cover the costs for the teddy bears with the inserted audio technology as well as the costs of transport to international children's homes.

Our aim is to provide as many children with stories as possible. Every donation will help to realize this aim. If we don't reach our fund goal, all the money that has been contributed will still go directly towards this aim.
Why Bedtime Stories?
In our opinion a bedtime story is a highlight for every child. It sparks the kid's imagination and influences their entire childhood. Studies show that reading to kids before bedtime also helps to develop listening abilities, vocabulary, creativity and oral communication skills. But perhaps the biggest benefit comes from an even more basic truth: that when a child is read to, they feel loved.
Will I see the results?
We will keep you updated on this project through our Social Media Channels. But probably the greatest result will be a happy kid goes on to become a happy adult.
