Annabelle needs powered wheelchair!

Hello!
I'm Annabelle, and I have a rare genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which means the collagen my body produces is faulty. This has such a wide range of effects on my body I won't even begin to list them all. However, as time progresses, my mobility is getting worse and worse, as my joints continually move out of place and complications continue to arise. I'm now at the point where I need a wheelchair for a majority of things.
While I was planning to somehow save up for an electric wheelchair for university, it's become essential to get one earlier than that, as I need it to continue attending sixth-form college.
Unfortunately, because I am still able to walk very short distances (although this ability is decreasing quite quickly!) I am ineligible for an NHS voucher to get an electric wheelchair. Similarly, despite applying for PIP (government support) many months ago, I've yet to hear anything from them, so I'm unable to procure a wheelchair through that route as well.
As I am living with my dad, and we're barely surviving on what money we have, I'm hoping to raise enough money to buy both an electric wheelchair and a hoist for my dad's car to be able to get it in and out of the car (as he is disabled too, and unable to do so himself).
By getting this wheelchair, it'd mean I could be much more independent and would have so much more freedom to live my life, as well as continue my vitally important education.

(The £6,000 goal is a rough estimate, as electric wheelchairs vary wildly in price, and I am unsure at present of how much the hoist will cost, so I will continue to update this as need be! Also, feel free to ask any questions you have to better understand why I'm doing this and how it'll benefit me. One last thing: in the unlikely event I end up with more money than I need for these purposes, I would use the money for day-to-day living costs, supporting others with their fundraisers, and/or donate to a charity of my choosing.)
