Hi! My name is Danielle Basista and I will be leaving for Sicily in less than 2 months! I am going as a student ambassador through AFS intercultural. I will be living with a host family and going to school in Niscemi, Italy for my junior year of high school. I'm so excited to represent my country, my state and my hometown of Fairport Harbor. I am the first student from Fairport to participate in AFS.
I've been working hard raising money for my tuition - bake sales, candy bar sales, a garage sale and seeking sponsorship from local businesses and organizations. I am also putting my earnings from my summer job towards my program. I still have more money to raise though. Please help me out by donating whatever you can!
