Joshua Kaye Foundation

Joshua Quentin Kaye was an 8 year old boy who loved to create. He loved to build and draw and experiment and discover. He loved to listen to and make music. He was a passionate champion of animals and nature and a devoted brother and friend. He wanted to be a farmer, a scientist and a builder. He was playful and funny; intense and focused. He was an old soul and an asker of great questions. Josh often battled with the limits of his body, but his spirit was limitless.

Joshua joins his cousin Eli Kaye and great-grandparents Marion Giles, Merrill Farber, Lillian Farber and Harold Kaye. He leaves behind his mom and dad, Melissa and Andrew Kaye, sisters Lauren and Allie, aunts and uncles: Jon and Dara Kaye, Franky Thomson, Michelle and Timothy Livingston, Anthony Thomson, cousins Franky and Tori Thomson, Natalie and Justin Livingston, and Daniel Kaye and grandparents Frank Thomson, Joanne Thomson and David Trent, Beverly Kaye, Bob and Sandy Kaye and great grandmothers Fay Kaye and Mary Dulong and many other beloved family and friends.

He will be missed by his entire family, school, community and the world. Although we are sad to let him go, we know he is free to explore the universe and have adventures he could not have on Earth.

Joshua Kaye Foundation celebrates Joshua's kindness, creativity and curiosity by developing and enabling thoughtful community-based projects focusing on education, ecology and the arts.
