Montera Middle School Music Program

The Montera Music Program grew from 150 students last year to 450 student this year! At our school, most of the students can't afford to rent or buy their own instrument, so the school district provides instruments for students to use free of charge.
On May 5th, the Montera Band and Orchestra went to a music festival in San Jose, and on our way home the storage compartment opened up and a bass clarinet and trumpet fell out onto the freeway and got run over by multiple vehicles. The replacement cost of these 2 instruments alone is $3,000.
I am requesting $10,000 total, to replace these two instruments and to purchase additional instruments and supplies, to maintain our music program that serves almost 2/3 of the entire school population, with no school budget for the music program.
