Hello there….
My name is Paula, I am privileged enough to be disability support carer for my beautiful friends Craig and Ange's daughter… Little miss Jessi Clarke.
Jessi is such a beautiful, smart, funny, amazing young lady… turning 12 this year… Jessi also has server cerebral palsy. Jessi cannot walk or talk… however reverse parks better than me and is cheeky as a monkey.
After coming into Jessi and Ange’s life I have seen what true unconditional love really is… what an amzaing little family.
I am in awe of Ange and her zest for life… love… dedication… staunchness and approach to life and motherhood. Amazing humans that have changed my life and my mission is to change theirs.
I am on a mission to build Jessi a pool that we can use for therapeutic purposes and just fun!
Jess loves the water so much… When you have children, costs are high… When you have a high care needs child with a disability its another budget all together….
You can not just take Jessi to the beach or the lake like most families.
I have been putting it out there and we have been fortunate enough to have some people putting their hands up to make it happen… I have lots of helping hands... I just need funds!
It has started the seed growing…. Now its time to see it grown…. I am hoping to able to do our own BACKYARD BLITZ….
I cant begin to tell you the daily struggle of having a high care needs disabled child… There are so deserving of something amazing….
We need sponsorship / donations – trades and services
I cant begin to tell you what this would mean to this little girl, her family and myself ! :)
UPDATE
As you all know that we have just weathered Cyclone Debbie.... sadly has effected a lot of us... fortunately Jessi was great through it all... quite enjoyed the excitement and has been so amazing and patient through it all and after...
VERY EXCITING NEWS... Make a wish foundation has come on board and is making a beautiful outdoor/garden area for Jessi... Jessi did have the most beautiful massive fig tree that she would sit at and under and just loved it.. sadly she has lost all the trees including the fig that would shade and allow her to sit under in our climate up here. I so cant wait to see what they come up with !!! So exciting for this little lady!
POOL UPDATE....
We have chosen to go with a concrete pool and is fingers crossed achievable for the $20,000 mark....
All labour has been thankfully donated really... we just need to get concrete donated and a suitable pool pump...
From all the amazing support we have gotten the goal dropped from $30,000 to $20,000 ;) awesome !!!
I am asking any locals to share and or tag someone that may be able to help with the above...
I am aware that at the moment there are so many people rebuilding and getting over Debbie...
However... I promised this little lady that I will build her a pool and that's what I have to do...
Through out this process the community spirit has been amazing and uplifting... and I am looking forward to that paying the good vibes forward...
Thank you ! <3 x
