Adopt a little life

Hello, Thanks for taking your time to read our story; the short version is this (if you want the long sob story feel free to keep reading after the break): my beautiful bride has wanted nothing more than to be a mother her entire life, and after years of trying, hopeful promises, and failed procedures, it turns out I cannot give her one biologically. After this, the first thing her heart said was to adopt some child in need.

Now for the long version: Andrea was born with cystic fibrosis... If you don't know what that is, it is a terribly awful, chronically terminal disease that affects a number of her important organs and systems, as well as the reproductive system.  However, she has braved through life, It's many ups and downs, to end up married to me, a military member who is deployed constantly. After making it through near-deaths, daily sickness, and waiting to start a family for so long, we immediately starting trying to accomplish the dream of having a baby even during her selfless act to follow me around for 6 moves in 3 years in low-population areas without proper medical facilities. We finally ended up in a town where she could have the right medical personnel watch over her while she is pregnant, if she can be. After years of trying and numerous tests we find out, "hallelujah, she is fertile! Despite the slow lung and digestive systems breakdown, she should be able to finally fulfill her dream, in a city with experienced doctors to monitor her!!" However, my tests were quite the opposite. Despite these grim results we prayed and tried medicine and procedures which didn't work for the longest time, until once again, "praise the Lord, 3 positive pregnancy tests!!".... Only to be crushed by a miscarriage. We could try more complicated/expensive procedures such as IVF but her heart is so amazing it would much rather spend money on saving another baby, than forcefully creating one of our own. That's where we need help... Adoption fees are incredibly expensive and while I make enough of a living to care for Andrea's extra medical expenses and a family, it would be years to save up that kind of money to adopt. Years that she could spend being a mother.  Years CF may not allow her to have...  I want to ensure everyone that We also have a heart for foster care and orphaned children, and plan to do that and well, but all I want is to give Andrea a baby, one that she and I can grow with and learn to parent with first.  Thank you for reading, and if you sense it placed it on your heart, please give what you feel, and if not, passing the page/word around would be a such blessing too :) thanks again and know that we too, are praying for you.
