Rich Apuzzo wasn't just a meteorologist on the news, he was a father, a husband, a friend, a mentor, and a role model for so many in the community he called home.
Rich at just age 53 died on July 7, six months after announcing he had terminal brain cancer.
Rich was emcee at A Caring Place's annual dinner auction in November for years in Cincinnati. In honor of his memory, his wife Ruthie will donate all funds raised to help save lives at this year's dinner.
